Yes, you can update the details of your order after placing it. To do so, please contact our customer support as soon as possible with the correct details. For instance, if you have ordered the wrong color or selected the wrong seat cover for your motorcycle model, you can provide us with the correct color or the correct model specifications. Once you have provided the correct details, we will update your order accordingly and ensure that it is shipped out promptly. If you notice the mistake before the order has been processed, we can make the change without any issue. It's important to act swiftly because once an order is shipped, we may not be able to make the changes. Prompt communication is key for a smoother resolution.

Thank you for your inquiry about returning an order. We are committed to ensuring a smooth return process for our customers. Here are the steps you need to follow to return an item:


1. Return the unused item in its original packaging rolled up the same way as it was received to avoid any damage or creases. Items must be returned within a specified date range from the date of purchase. Returns that arrive after 30 days from the issue date of the return authorization may be subject to a restocking fee.


2. Clearly write the return authorization number, which you should receive from customer service, on the outside of the package.


3. Ship the item using the post office to avoid any additional fees. Other shipping companies like UPS or FEDEX may impose brokerage fees upon delivery which will be deducted from your refund.


4. If required to fill out a content description form when shipping, make sure to describe the item as "return: seat cover" and include a certain monetary value if necessary. This value will be provided by our customer service team.


5. The item should be sent to our address in Vancouver, BC. Please make sure to send it to the correct location provided by our customer service team.


Please ensure to follow these instructions carefully. Improper labeling or shipping that results in additional fees will result in deductions from your refund. When your return package is received, we will notify you immediately and begin processing your refund, which will be the amount paid for the item minus any shipping charges.

Unfortunately we do not offer seat shaving services. We recommend visiting you local upholstery shop to have that done.

Unfortunately we're a seat cover manufacturer and do not offer this service. You will have to find an automotive upholestry shop to have that done.

We manufacture seat covers not a full seat. Our seat covers require installation on your own unmodified OEM seat. We also sell gold gel inserts separately that also requires installation.

We recommend a quick rinse with water or use mild soap if it's really dirty.

We recommend measuring your seat first, then refer to our product fitment for the maximum dimensions for the specific size to see if your seat is compatible.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

All orders placed on our website are shipped from Canada. Complete "In stock" orders will usually ship within 1-2 business days. "Partial stock" and "Made to Order" orders can take 1-2 weeks before shipping. Custom orders can take longer depending on the complexity.

Canada Orders

Orders within Canada are shipped with UPS Worldwide Expedited (approximately 3 business days once shipped). 

USA Orders

Orders within the continental United States, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands are shipped via UPS Worldwide Expedited (approximately 2-3 business days once shipped). *Please note shipping cost for the following territories of the United States will differ. Do not choose US during checkout (American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands).

International Orders

Orders are shipped via UPS Worldwide Express (shipping time will vary depending on your location). Most orders once shipped will arrive within a week.

PO Box Address

We do not ship to PO Box address. Physical address only.

Military Address

We ship to APO/FPO addresses with Canada Post. Please select the country "United States" and the correct state (Armed Forces Americas/Europe/Pacific).

*IMPORTANT* All international shipments are subject to duties/taxes charged by your country's customs upon delivery. If the shipment is refused due to refusal of paying import fees, we may abandon your order and not offer a refund.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, or if the item arrived damaged, we will gladly accept return of the ordered item(s) within 30 days of received date. Please email us at [email protected] to obtain an return authorization (RA) number. Any late authorized orders returned after 30 days of receiving a return authorization (RA) number may be subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the item(s) total.

Returns without an return authorization (RA) number or if the item is returned late and past our 30 day return policy may not be accepted for a refund.

Accepted return items will be credited the full amount minus any shipping costs. Any item that has been attempted to be installed will not be accepted. Items that have stains (from grease, dirt, pen mark etc) will also not be accepted. If we shipped you the wrong item Luimoto will cover any shipping expenses incurred. Customized colour orders are non-refundable. If you are unsure which colours match your motorcycle, email us to request sample swatches at [email protected].

In case of a return, use only your country's standard postal service (United States Postal Service, Canada Post, etc.) We will not accept any packages shipped by UPS or FedEx from outside of Canada.

If the items are in stock, they will typically ship within 1-2 business days after the order is placed. If the items are made to order, it can take up to 1-2 weeks for them to be shipped.

Please note that these time frames are estimates and may vary depending on our current order volumes.

Yes, you can! Simply enter the UPS Access Point address as your delivery address during checkout. Once your package arrives at the selected Access Point, UPS will notify you via email for pickup. Don't forget to bring a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, when picking up your package.

Seat Covers FAQs

We do not sell the entire seat unit with foam. We design and manufacture a sewn seat cover fabric which is to be installed over your OEM seat using a staple gun. Below is an example of an actual product.

CF vinyl is a marine grade vinyl that has a carbon weave texture embossed onto the vinyl. It reflects in the light just like real carbon fiber. SP vinyl has a leather-like texture, look and feel; for those who want an enhanced OEM look.


Please note, vinyl and paint surface properties are different so a 100% match is difficult to achieved. However we have selected the best colours available to match your motorcycle. If you are ever unsure about the colours, please email us at [email protected] and request free sample swatches.

Installing the Luimoto seat cover is simple; however, it will require some patience. You will need a staple gun (an electric or pneumatic staple is preferred). Installation will involve some stretching and pulling. All orders come with detailed online instructions.

If you do not wish to install the seat cover yourself, we recommend seeking your local automotive upholstery shop. Please remember, we are selling just the seat cover, not the entire seat assembly.

You can also send us your seat to be installed by us. Our fees are below:

Rider seat cover $50

The Moisture Barrier Poly Sheet (MBPS) goes between the Luimoto seat cover and OEM foam to provide extra wet weather protection. Before installation of the MBPS, Simply wrap it over your stock foam, either securing it with a spritz of spray glue or stapling it down to the plastic pan. Once you are satisfied with the install of the MBPS, proceed to install your Luimoto seat cover using our helpful videos or online instruction manual. Trim off any excess MBPS under the seat pan using a scissor.


*This is only included with seat cover styles that have a suede top panel or ribbing. Please note seat covers that have a suede top panel with ribbing has this already built in and doesn't come with an additional one.

Luimoto Marine-Grade Vinyl:

  •     
  • Wash with mild soap and water and rinse. Wipe off any remaining excess water with a clean chamois.
  •    
  • For stubborn stains, take a nylon bristled toothbrush and use mild soap and water and work the area in a circular motion. Repeat until stain has been removed.
  •    
  • Do not use any kind of store bought vinyl cleaners as the seat cover could become slippery making it unsafe to operate a motorcycle.

Luimoto Suede:

  •     
  • Use a clean soft nylon bristled brush to quickly remove dust off suede
  •    
  • Wash your bike like you usually would with mild soap and water and rinse
  •    
  • Soak up excess water with chamoise or sponge and allow 15 minutes of air drying under the sun
  •    
  • Do not rub or use any hard bristles on the suede while its wet.
  •    
  • Do not use any mechanical upholstery/carpet cleaner to clean the suede.
  •    
  • Do not allow the suede to stay wet and dry out on its own
  •    
  • Do not allow suede to sit under the sun all year round uncovered
  •    
  • Following these steps should ensure long life of your Luimoto suede seat cover

All seat covers are inspected before shipping. We will guarantee the quality of the workmanship, thread and vinyl for 1 year of the purchase date under normal use. Warranty will be void if the vinyl is at anytime of ownership, been exposed to gasoline, or other damaging chemicals.

If the seat cover is installed improperly, damaged during installation, or if the seat was damaged under any other circumstances (tipping the bike, traffic accident), the seat cover will not be covered under warranty. Also, using products other than the ones recommend to maintain/clean the seat cover will void the warranty.

Yes, you can! Elastic is often included in new seat cover designs for ease of installation. Many motorcycle seats, including those from OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), feature elastic for the same purpose.

Unfortunately we do not work on aftermarket seats. Our seat cover patterns will only fit on the specific unmodified OEM seat.

Gel Insert (Gold Gel) FAQs

Gold Gel is specifically designed to absorb and distribute road shock and vibrations. This leads to less rider fatigue, resulting in longer ride times. Gold Gel is not a soft material like most gel inserts on the market. This means that it will not bottom and provides a comfortable and supportive ride at all times.


Gold Gel integrates into your existing seat foam, leaving the seat shape unaltered. Luimoto Designer Seat Covers fit perfectly over the seat seamlessly creating a beautiful and comfortable seat.

If you do not wish to install the seat cover yourself, we recommend seeking your local automotive upholstery shop. A typical install fee should range between $20.00 to $60.00 per seat, depending on the size and complexity of the install. Please remember, we are selling just the seat cover, not the entire seat assembly.

You can also send us your seat to be installed by us. Our fees are below:

(GG1) Rider or (GG2) Passenger Kit Install $100 (Add $20 if your seat is a large / long seat)

(GG3) Rider and Passenger or (GG4) Large Kit Install $160

Install fee also includes un-installation and installation of your seat cover.

Unfortunately we only suggest installing our Gold Gel R kit if your seat heating element is underneath your seat foam. If your seat heating element is on top of your seat foam then we do not recommend any gel installation.

Tank Pads (Tank Leaf) FAQs

Once the deposit has been paid, we will provide a maximum of two designs and one revision. After the sign off process, we are unable to make any changes to the product. This is because our production process begins immediately after receiving approval, and alterations to the order would require us to start the process over from the beginning, which would cause delays and additional expenses.
